Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced and passionate Area Manager for Andhra Pradesh, specializing in Crop Protection Chemicals (CPC).
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in agri-input sales and marketing, including 4–5 years in a supervisory or state-level role. This position demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the rural agricultural ecosystem to drive growth, engagement, and profitability across the region.


📍 Location: Andhra Pradesh

💰 Salary: ₹50,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and performance)

🧠 Experience: 10+ years in CPC sales and marketing, with team management experience

🏢 Employment Type: Full-time, On-site


Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business strategy into actionable plans at state, district, and field levels to achieve sales and network growth targets.

  • Own and deliver on state-level KPIs such as monthly/quarterly sales, retailer activation, and margin targets.

  • Lead training and onboarding programs for channel partners (Sankalp Partners) and influencers (Mitras).

  • Motivate and guide field sales teams to drive engagement, order generation, and target achievement through both offline and digital platforms.

  • Conduct regular product training sessions, ensure high-quality onboarding, and resolve partner escalations promptly.

  • Supervise a team of Territory Managers and Field Executives across the Andhra Pradesh region.

  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, partner agreements, and operational guidelines.

  • Develop and implement localized sales strategies to increase rural reach and brand visibility.

  • Support sales enablement initiatives, digital campaigns, and incentive schemes for channel partners.

  • Analyze sales data, competitor activities, and market feedback to identify opportunities and improve efficiency.


Candidate Profile

Education:

  • B.Sc. in Agriculture / Horticulture (mandatory)

  • M.Sc. in Agriculture or MBA in Agribusiness (preferred)

Experience:

  • 10+ years of overall experience in CPC sales and marketing

  • Minimum 4–5 years of supervisory or state-level management experience

  • Prior work experience in Andhra Pradesh is essential

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of agronomy, crop patterns, and farmer behavior in Andhra Pradesh

  • Excellent leadership, sales planning, and team management skills

  • Ability to build strong retailer and influencer networks

  • Proficient in MS Office and digital reporting tools

  • Fluent in Telugu, Hindi, and English

  • Willingness for extensive field travel
